The Wildlife Protection Map, or WPM, was born out of a simple yet urgent reality: many species are vanishing quietly, without ever being known to the public. Conservation campaigns and documentaries often spotlight familiar icons, species that already capture the human imagination. But this leaves a critical gap: countless lesser–known species, already critically endangered, remain overlooked.
WPM exists to close that gap, shining a light on wildlife at the edge of disappearance and bringing their stories into the global conversation.
Protecting the most vulnerable

Our current focus is on marine mammals with the lowest population numbers globally and with low public awareness, species that are often overlooked despite being on the brink of extinction. By starting here, we aim to create a scalable system of targeted storytelling, with the long–term vision of scaling this approach to other critically endangered species across ecosystems.
Targeted Modular Storytelling
Modular storytelling turns conservation narratives into flexible, adaptable building blocks that can be tailored to different audiences, regions, and platforms.
Instead of relying on one–off campaigns, we design ongoing streams of content like short films, maps, social posts, and visual stories that can be repurposed for maximum impact.
This adaptability not only ensures that awareness reaches the right people at the right time, but also opens pathways for collaboration across industries.
By making storytelling modular, we transform it into a dynamic tool that connects partners and drives coordinated action for critically endangered species.
